Observation
How easy is it for us to ask for things from God and forget to be thankful? Ten men asked for healing from their leprosy. We do not know exactly when the healing took place, but they all were obedient to go see the priest to be considered healed. One of them went a step further with a heart and spirit full of praise, thanked Jesus. What a beautiful picture of what we should be doing as well. We are to be obedient to follow what God tells us to do and also be full of gratefulness for what He has done, is doing, and will do.
Application
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ESV reads, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I wonder what God’s will is for my life, and it says it all right here. Verse 18 says to “give thanks in all circumstances.” When we give heartfelt thanks to God, it shows our dependence on Him. We are acknowledging His works in our lives. What do we have to praise and thank God for today? There are so many things that we could start with. Thanks for allowing us to wake up, to have work or school or rest, to be forgiven, and to have His grace covering us afresh this day.
God says His will is for us to rejoice always, pray or communicate with Him all the time, and be thankful. In this, our tendencies will not be on “I wish I had this or that” or “What a terrible day I’m having.” Rather, it focuses on His work in our lives, even in tough seasons. Let us rejoice, talk, and be grateful to Him!

Dear God Almighty, thank you and I praise you for the new mercies I experience daily! Thank you for working in my life and never ceasing to extend your grace to me. I am so grateful for the family you have blessed me with. I am grateful for allowing me to have a job I can go to. I am grateful for watching over my family and for all of Your provision and love! Thank you! I praise your Name, Jesus! Amen!

## 観察
私たちは、神に何かを求めながら、感謝することを忘れがちではないだろうか。10人の男がハンセン病のいやしを求めた。いついやされたのか正確にはわかりませんが、彼らは皆、いやされたとみなされるために祭司に会いに行くことに従順でした。 そのうちの一人は、さらに一歩進んで、賛美に満ちた心と霊をもってイエスに感謝した。これは、私たちがなすべきことのなんと美しい姿であろうか。私たちは、神に言われたことに従順に従うと同時に、神がしてくださったこと、今してくださっていること、そしてこれからしてくださることに感謝するのです。

1テサロニケ5:16-18 ESVにはこうある。”いつも喜び、絶え間なく祈り、どんなときにも感謝しなさい。私の人生に対する神のご意志は何だろうか。18節には、”どんな時にも感謝しなさい “とある。私たちが神に心から感謝を捧げるとき、それは私たちが神に依存していることを示している。私たちの人生における神の御業を認めているのだ。今日、私たちは神を賛美し、感謝しなければならないことがあるだろうか？たくさんあるはずだ。目覚めることができたこと、仕事や学校、休息があること、赦されたこと、主の恵みが今日も新たに私たちを覆ってくれていることに感謝しよう。
神のみこころは、私たちがいつも喜び、いつも祈り、神と交わり、感謝することだと神は言われる。そうすれば、私たちの傾向は、”あれがあったらいいのに “とか、”なんてひどい一日なんだろう “ということには向かわない。そうではなく、たとえ困難な季節であっても、私たちの人生における主の働きに焦点を当てるのだ。喜び、語り、主に感謝しよう！

親愛なる全能の神よ、私が日々経験する新しい憐れみを感謝し、賛美します！私の人生に働いてくださり、あなたの恵みを絶やすことなく与えてくださることを感謝します。あなたが祝福してくださった家族に心から感謝しています。私が通える仕事を与えてくれて感謝しています。家族を見守り、あなたが与えてくださるすべてのものと愛に感謝します！感謝します！あなたの御名を賛美します！アーメン！
