“When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?” Psalm 8:3-4
Observation
As I read this verse, I remembered so many times that I had the opportunity to see the night sky without any light pollution.
It is really uncountable the number of stars in the sky.
And as humans slowly discover more and more things in this universe, I feel more amazed.
This verse shows the greatness of God in His creation.
And the next verse shows that we were made a little lower than Him and the angels.
Application
We should never doubt our value, or our worthiness as a person because God himself considers us very valuable.
He already showed how valuable we are to him, not because he needs us but because we are his loved creation.
He sacrificed himself for us, and that is something we can never pay back, and I am glad we don’t need to 😀
We were bought back at a very high price.
Prayer
Loving Father in Heaven, thank you you reached out when we had no hope. Help us to see the value we have within ourselves, the same way you see us. Please help me to remember your greatness always. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
