Observation
Paul encourages generosity, the people who give without holding back, at the same time not under compulsion.
He says we should give whatever we have decided in our hearts to give.
And because God loves a cheerful giver, we will have all that we need to keep doin the good work.
Application
Give should not be a heavy weight in our hearts.
But should be something we do because we know that is what we have to do.
And we give without holding back, we shows to ourselves that money or possessions aren’t the things that guides our lives.
That the things we own has the only purpose to bless others that we can along the way.
Give is a thing we must do with joy.
Prayer
Lord, help me to show the same kind of generosity that you showed. Help me to don’t feel that give is a heavy things I “must” do, but that my actions will be filled with joy, knowing that you will continue to provide to me, in all things, at all times. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
