‘ Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord !’
Psalm 150:1-2,6 ESV
Observation
The Psalmist is calling us to praise the Lord because He is with us! He is still on the throne! He has done great things! We are called to look at our lives and see how the Lord has brought us through and to where we are. By us being here today, alive and breathing, it is mercy. Praise the Lord! I had been in a situation that made me feel terribly anxious. To the point, I would wake up with a cold sweat and have a hard time falling asleep. But I remembered how the apostle Paul spent time in jail and even writing letters to different churches, whilst praising God. It isn’t our location nor our situation; as long as there is air in our lungs, we should praise the Lord.
Application
Remember the good things The Lord has done and praise Him! Remember that He is on the throne of Heaven, but not looking down on us, He is with us, He is around us! He is right now living in us, so praise Him! Though things may be difficult, praise God, the One who can change the course of everything. He is the One who has control over everything around and in us. His Sovereignty and Providence are over everything in existence; let us remember that God is in control. Remember, praise Him, for He is working for all of us. Think of all the things God has and is doing, and praise Him for them!
Prayer
Dear God Almighty, thank you so much for your goodness! Thank You for loving us so much that You gave up Your Son, Jesus, for us. Thank you for this day! I choose to praise You amid the things that are going on in my life. I look to you with hope and trust. Praise Your Holy Name! I praise you for granting me another day. I praise you for being the solid foundation and fortress I can run to. Thank you for being there for me amidst my anxiety and struggle to let me know that You are in control. I love you, and thank you! In Your Precious name, Jesus! Amen!

詩篇の作者は、主が私たちと共におられるので、主を賛美するようにと呼びかけている！なぜなら、主は私たちと共におられるからです！主は偉大なことをしてくださいました！私たちは自分の人生を振り返り、主が私たちをどのように導いてくださったかを知るよう求められている。今日、私たちがここにいて、生きていて、息をしていることは、憐れみなのだ。主を賛美します！私はひどく不安になるような状況にあった。冷や汗をかいて目が覚め、なかなか寝付けないほどだった。しかし私は、使徒パウロが牢獄で過ごし、神を賛美しながらさまざまな教会に手紙を書いたことを思い出した。肺に空気がある限り、主を賛美すべきなのだ。
## 応用
主がしてくださった良いことを思い出し、主を賛美しなさい！主は天の御座におられますが、私たちを見下ろしておられるのではありません！主は今、私たちの内に生きておられるのだから、主を賛美しなさい！困難なことがあっても、神を賛美しなさい。主は、私たちの身の回りのすべてを支配しておられる方です。神の主権と摂理は、存在するすべてのものを支配している。神は私たちすべてのために働いておられるのだから。神が私たちのために働いておられるのです！
## 祈り
親愛なる全能の神よ、あなたのいつくしみに心から感謝します！私たちのために御子イエスを捨ててくださるほどに、私たちを愛してくださりありがとうございます。今日という日を感謝します！私の人生に起こる様々な出来事の中で、私はあなたを賛美することを選びます。希望と信頼をもってあなたを見ます。あなたの聖なる御名を賛美します！今日も一日を与えてくださったことを賛美します。あなたが私の拠り所であり、要塞であることを賛美します。不安と葛藤の中、私のそばにいて、あなたがコントロールしておられることを知らせてくださりありがとうございます。あなたを愛し、感謝します！あなたの尊い御名、イエス様！アーメン！
