The Hand of the Lord

“this Ezra came up from Babylon. He was a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses, which the Lord, the God of Israel, had given. The king had granted him everything he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him.”
‭Ezra‬ ‭7:6‬ ‭NIV‬

There are three mentions in this chapter about “the hand of the Lord”.

Because of the hand of the Lord was on him:

  1. The king granted everything he asked
  2. He began his journey from Babylon to Jerusalem
  3. He took courage and gather leaders from Israel to go up with him.

Ezra recognizes the blessing of God’s hand:

  • coming from other people
  • in his journeys
  • giving him courage

How can I see the hand of the Lord is on me?

There are so many times, God uses people to give His blessings to me.

I can see his miracles in my journey of life, no matter the place I am.

And because of that, I can feel confident that walk forward, gathering people around me to accomplish the tasks that God has given me.

Heavenly Father, yesterday I apply for an extension of my VISA in Japan. There are always concerns of “what if they deny”, but I believe that your hand is upon me, so your blessings are always with me. Thank you. I love you. Amen.
