My Limitations

“Then the Lord asked Moses, ‘Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.’”

Exodus‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Lord called Moses to free his people that was suffering in the hands of the Egypt.Moses had a big task to speak to the Hebrews and to Faraoh. But Moses knew his limitation. He could not speak well and he was afraid to do what God requested. Even after he saw his staff becoming a snake and his hand getting a skin disease and get health again, he try to excuse himself behind his limitations.

Our limitations should not be an excuse to not obey God.What God had called me to do has nothing to do with my own strengths or my abilities but God’s will.Realizing my limitations is just to help me see the immense power of God that works through us in our weakness. He empowers whomever He chooses.

Heavenly Father. Thank you that through my weakness I can see you grace and power overflowing in me. Help me to accept the challenges that you put in front of me, not looking and focusing in my limitations but on your great power. In the name of Jesus, I pray.
